A representative from Dong Nai's Forest Management Office said Vu and two other friends Trinh Hoang Dong and Nguyen Van Thom were going on a motorbike to do some fishing in Dinh Quan Province when an elephant appeared and attacked them.
Vu was stabbed by the elephant's tusk and then died after sustaining trauma to the head. Dong and Thom were able to safely escape./.
