The temple will be lower in height than the statue of Emperor Quang Trung, which was erected in the park about 20 years ago to mark the Ngoc Ho-Dong Da victory over the Chinese Qing invaders.
In the early spring of 1789, Nguyen Hue who was later proclaimed Emperor Quang Trung, launched a surprise attack and defeated more than 29,000 Qing soldiers in a five-day battle during the lunar New Year.-VNA
