Vietnam (HIP) have signed a 250,000 matching fund project to improve
life for poor farming households.
The 3-year project, to be implemented in My Hoi and Tan Hoi Trung communes of Cao Lanh district and Lang Bien and My Hoa communes in Thap Muoi district, will provide agricultural tools and capital for 300 poor households through HIP’s value-based community development model.
The project, to which Dong Thap province will contribute half, is expected to improve beneficiaries’ knowledge, increase the quality of production and generate income for the poor./.
