Epicor forms strategic alliance with DiCentral
Epicor Software Corporation, a leading
provider of business software solutions, has formed a strategic
alliance with DiCentral company Ltd, an electronic data interchange
innovator recently named among the 100 Great SupplyChain Partners of
2009 by SupplyChain.

“Vietnam is an important new market for Epicor, and our alliance with DiCentral is a strategic step towards growing our customer base among small and medium-sized enterprises here,” said Bryan Tan, deputy president of Sales of Epicor Software Asia.
The alliance is expected to enable Epicor and DiCentral to capitalise on expanding growth opportunities in Vietnam through a combination of DiCentral’s local market expertise, strength in the mid-market segment and Epicor’s business solutions for the manufacturing sector.
The alliance will mainly focus on providing business solutions for plastics manufacturing and consumer packaged goods, as well as the hotel and property management segment, with DiCentral offering prospective customers a full suite of Epicor’s end-to-end solutions.
According to figures from the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Vietnam’s plastics industry is expected to grow 7 to 10 percent in 2009.
Vietnam has steadily increased its value of plastic exports by 80 percent during the past three years./.
