famous movies from Europe as a European Film Festival is taking place
in the city from May 17-26.
The festival is jointly organised by the European Union (EU) delegation and the embassies of EU member countries in Vietnam, and the Da Nang Cinema and Film Distribution Centre as part of the “Europe Days 2013” programme.
During the event, local viewers will see the cultural diversity of Europe through 13 films from 13 EU member states, covering the whole gamut of types ranging from animated and psychological films to documentaries and comedies.
Most of the films have ever been nominated at international film festivals or won the world’s reputable awards, such as Even the Rain (Spain), the Fairy (Belgium), the Painting (France) and Wuthering Heights (the UK) among others.-VNA
