– The eighth Europe-Vietnam documentary films festival will take place from June 9-18 in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

The information was revealed by Nguyen Nhu Vu, Acting Director of the National Documentary and Scientific Film Studio (DSF) at a press conference on June 7 in Hanoi.

The event, annually held by the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) and the DSF, will gather 31 documentary films, including 10 from European countries, namely France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, the UK, and Israel and 21 of Vietnam.

Under the schedule, Vietnamese and European films will be screened in the evening while one made by independent filmmakers will be shown in the afternoon.
