The Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) has reported that it is to invest almost 58.5 trillion VND in power projects this year, up 10.8 trillion VND compared to 2009.

EVN has mapped out numerous measures to develop its operational plans such as raising capital, settling issues regarding investment, checking over buildings and disbursement.
At the same time, the group has asked that the Ministries of Industry and Trade, Planning and Investment and Finance stump up more funding for its projects, especially ODA-funded ones./.
