Do Nguyen Anh - Chairwoman of the Members’ Council at the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC): Identifying challenges

In 2022, EVNNPC has clearly identified its difficulties in order to come up with specific and concerted solutions. In particular, the corporation has determined the biggest challenge, that is to ensure enough electricity for the northern region, especially during months of hot and extreme weather. It has set up a steering board for ensuring the power supply for the region in the 2021-2025 period, which holds monthly meetings to put forth and implement solutions. Accordingly, EVNNPC is set to focus on speeding up and ensuring the progress of projects on the power grid construction; to proactively capture information from the National Load Dispatch Centre (EVNNLDC) to make a communications plan; and to work with local authorities and major customers to organise production reasonably; among others.
