Exchange programme celebrates major events of Vietnam, Laos

A Vietnam-Laos art exchange programme was held at the Lao National Culture Palace in Vientiane on March 11 to celebrate major events in both countries.
A Vietnam-Laos art exchange programmewas held at the Lao National Culture Palace in Vientiane on March 11 tocelebrate major events in both countries.

Addressing the function, Director of the Vientiane Culture andInformation Department Van khon Keonakhon welcomed Vietnamese and Laoarts troupes, particularly those Vietnamese who are former politicalprisoners and resilient revolutionary soldiers.

The exchange programme is among activities ramping up to both countriesmajor festivals, especially the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoiand the 450th anniversary of Vientiane capital and it also serves topromote relations between the two countries.

The event was also held to mark the 55th anniversary of the LaoPeople’s Revolutionary Party (March 22) and the 35th anniversary of theLiberation of South Vietnam (April 30)./.

Thanking President Ndayishimiye and the Burundi Government for supporting the effective operation of Lumitel, the telecommunications joint venture of Vietnam’s Viettel Group in Burundi, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung proposed that Burundi continue facilitating Lumitel’s participation in e-government and digital transformation projects, while enabling it to expand investment and business activities, making it a symbol of bilateral cooperation.
