On display are works by seven paintersincluding Le Anh Van, Tran Tuyet Mai and Hoang Duc Dung who have actively promotedVietnam’s contemporary arts to international friends.
Speaking at the event, VietnameseAmbassador to India Pham Sanh Chau said the exhibition is part of Vietnam Monthwhich aims to celebrate the three years of the comprehensive strategicpartnership between Vietnam and India.
Over the last three years, in addition tooutstanding results in the fields of politics-diplomacy, security-nationaldefence, trade-investment and science-technology-education, the countries haveteamed up to arrange various cultural exchanges, the diplomat noted.
This is third exhibition of Vietnamesepainting held in that time, offering Indian friends a chance to gain anunderstanding of Vietnam’s contemporary arts, he added./.
