Exhibition spotlights Thanh Hoa province’s development
More than 10,000 photos, documents and objects are on display at the “Thanh Hoa - Past and present” exhibition, which was opened on May 5 as one activity to mark the 990th anniversary of the province’s naming.

The exhibition turned the spotlight on the north central province’s development through four periods, from the prehistoric and protohistoric periods, semi-feudal colonial time, to the struggle for national liberation, and reform periods.
Visitors to the exhibition will get a deeper insight into Thanh Hoa land and people during the national construction and protection cause, as well as the locality’s achievements in all sectors nowadays.
The exhibition will run until May 9.
Thanh Hoa is a relatively big province, which ranks the fifth in area and third in population among 63 centrally-run cities and provinces in Vietnam. -VNA
