Addressing the recent presentation ceremony in Belo Horizonte , the capital city of Brazil ’s Minas Gerais state, Vietnamese Ambassador to Brazil Nguyen Thac Dinh highlighted Huong’s activities and achievements that have helped strengthen mutual understanding between the two countries, especially about Vietnam’s culture.
Huong expressed her pleasure at being honoured and promised that she will continue to contribute to the embassy’s foreign activities, especially cultural and diplomatic activities.
The same day, while receiving Ambassador Dinh, Belo Horizonte mayor Marcio A Lacerdasaid he was pleased to know that the Vietnamese embassy will hold photography exhibitions and show films in his city on the occasion of the 20 th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnamese and Brazilian diplomatic ties.
The mayor said that these events would help local people to understand more about Vietnam and its people and stated that the Brazilian authorities will actively assist the embassy to put them on./.
