Exports of agriculture, forestry and fisheries exceed 33 billion USD
Exports of agriculture, forestry and fisheries of the 10-month period of 2019 is estimated at over 33 billion USD, up 1.6% compared to the same period in 2018.
Hoa Phat Group, a leading steel maker in Vietnam, shipped 191,600 tonnes of steel products aboard in the first nine months of 2019, rising 32 percent year on year and accounting for nearly 10 percent of its total sales.
Taiwan (China) and Japan are expected to remain the top destinations for Vietnamese workers this year with 90 percent of all overseas employees working there.
The local plastic industry, with solid growth in shipments, will surely meet its yearly export target of 3.2 billion USD, according to the Vietnam Plastics Association.
Vietnam has been recording strong development in e-commerce, through which businesses will have more chances to promote export, an official said at a workshop in Hanoi on October 18.
