ExxonMobil returns to Vietnam market

Hanoi (VNA) –The world-renown lubricant brand ExxonMobil of the US’s ExxonMobil Oil Corp has officially returned to Vietnam after five years of absence.

ExxonMobil has appointed the PAN International Petroleum Joint Stock Company as its authorised distributor in northern Vietnam and the TAT Petroleum Vietnam in the central and southern regions. Equator Company Limited will be responsible for distributing Exxon Mobil’s oil products for boats operating in Vietnam’s sea areas.

Exxon Mobil boasts diverse oil products used for cars, automobiles, trucks, buses, specialised vehicles and means of marine transport.

The company is confident that it would meet local customers’ demand for environmentally-friendly high-quality lubricants.

Speaking at a conference in Hanoi on November 17 to announce the company’s northern distributor, ExxonMobil’s Business Development General Director and Pacific Islands Distributor Manager Yasser Al-Azzawi said Vietnam is considered as one of the fastest growing and most important consumer markets in the region and the world.

ExxonMobil is delighted to have an opportunity to do business and develop in the market, he noted.-VNA
