Germany’s famous orchestra Berliner Symphoniker will perform at the Hanoi Opera House on July 14 and 15.

Themed, “Berliner Symphoniker brings peace to Asia”, this is the first time the orchestra has performed a concert in Vietnam .

The 66 musicians, who come from Germany, France, Japan, Russia, Australia and Vietnam, will thrill Vietnamese audiences with their stunning performance, featuring both classic works by Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Tchaikovsky and popular symphonies by Strauss and Elgar, said the orchestra’s conductor Lior Shambadal.

The world famous violist Bui Cong Duy will also share stage with the German orchestra for part of the concert.

The Berliner Symphoniker Orchestra has shaped Berlin ’s cultural landscape and enriched the classical music scene across the world for over 40 years.

The orchestra has performed both at home and overseas, including countries such as Brazil, the UK, Italy, Spain and Switzerland and has carved out its reputation at international festivals across the globe.-VNA
