President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Central Committee Huynh Dam has sent his best wishes to the Vietnamese population that lives in France to mark their association’s 12 th Congress.

In his letter, the Fatherland Fronts leader praised the contributions made by the Association of Overseas Vietnamese in France to the national wars of resistance in the past and during the current national construction process.

Over the past year, solidarity and support amongst the Vietnamese community in France has been markedly enhanced, he added.

“I believe that by developing this tradition of over 90 years, the association will continue be a haven for overseas Vietnamese people in France and organise more activities to encourage Vietnamese people to do more business, maintain their traditional culture, integrate into local society and help to boost the friendship between Vietnam and France,” wrote Dam.

He also expressed his hope that the overseas Vietnamese community in France would respond to the front’s patriotic movements concerning their home country as they are an inseparable part of the Vietnamese national bloc./.
