Over the past 30 years, foreign investment attraction has proven itself as a sound and successful policy of Vietnam.
With 29,400 valid projects as of August 20, foreign direct investment or FDI flow into Vietnam has topped 400 billion USD since 1988, with each worth 13.7 million USD on average.
Over the past 30 years, foreign investors have made significant contribution to the national economic development. However, local enterprises have yet taken advantage of the foreign-invested sector’s technologies.-VNA
