Hai Phong (VNA) – The B. Fest 2024, running from October 25-27 in the northern port city of Hai Phong, offered 25 types of beer and iconic chocolates from Belgium.
Addressing the opening of the festival on October 25 evening, Belgian Ambassador to Vietnam Karl Van Den Bossche described it as a hallmark of the Belgian culture in Vietnam and hoped it would help strengthen cooperative and friendly ties between Hai Phong and Belgian partners.
Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Le Khac Nam said the festival was a successful collaboration between the city, the Belgian Embassy, and Belgian businesses. Now in its third year, the event has become an annual cultural highlight, attracting not only local people and Belgian residents in the city, but also visitors.
This year’s edition featured 25 types of bee and a selection of traditional chocolates. Adding a special flavour to the event, Belgian chefs and beer experts led culinary experiences that pair these beers with a variety of dishes. Attendees were also treated to three nights of art performances featuring leading domestic and international artists./.
