Business leaders, government officials and civil organisations’ representatives are set to attend a conference in Ho Chi Minh City on August 15 to discuss new ideas on how Vietnam can lead and how to raise Vietnam’s global influence.
Initiated by the brand consultancy group Consulus, Shape The World Conferences have gathered more than 3,000 delegates from around the region since 2005. The conference was launched in Singapore and has since been introduced to fast-growing economies such as Vietnam and the Philippines .
The fifth Shape the World Conference will this year carry the theme of “What is Vietnam ’s Brand of Leadership?” .
Among the topics discussed will be the role of branding in transforming the industry , how Vietnamese values can guide our approach in grooming business leaders, and why innovation is necessary for Vietnamese companies.
Since it was first organised in 2005, Shape The World Conference is the platform for young and emerging leaders who are purpose-led and who understand the urgent need to change the way we have built the Asian economy so far. It is no longer about just achieving financial success but shaping the future,” said Lawrence Chong, General Director of Consulus Singapore.-VNA
