The French institute in Vietnam will host the CLap! Hanoi film festival during January 17 – 25, which aims to gather new talents in film making, be it for the cinema, television or the internet.
There will be seven genres of films to be screened at the event: TV sitcom, scripted reality, cinema short films, video art, first feature films, web contents and TV series. They were chosen based on their artistic value and creative features.
All screenings are open free to the public.
Besides, at the festival week, well-known French and Vietnamese speakers will show up to talk about their experience and give their views on the evolution of the media & entertainment industry while interacting with the audience via question-and-answer sessions.
Online newspaper Vietnam Plus, under the Vietnam News Agency, takes part in the event with its RapNews, a creative product presenting stories in form of rap songs.
CLap! Hanoi will run at the French Cultural Centre L’Espace at 24 Trang Tien Street.-VNA
