Finnish President Tarja Kaarina Halonen affirmed that Finland will continue boosting cooperation with Vietnam.

President Tarja Kaarina Halonen made the affirmation while receiving newly-accredited Vietnamese Ambassador to Finland Doan Ngoc Boi recently.

The President said she gained a fine impression of the Vietnamese people and land during her visit to Vietnam in 2008.

Ambassador Boi stated that Vietnam attaches importance to developing friendship and comprehensive cooperation with Finland , especially in trade, investment, education and labour.

The ambassador expressed thanks to Finland for support to Vietnam in national construction and development over many years./.
