More than 100 Finnish posters depicting the beautiful land and people of the country are on display in the northern province of Thai Nguyen, as part of activities to celebrate the 40 th anniversary of Vietnam-Finland diplomatic ties.

The week-long “100 Years–100 Posters” exhibition that opened on June 6 presents 101 posters by 52 painters from the beginning of last century, which are a part of the Lahti Poster Museum’s collection.

The event, to run until June 13, aims to increase mutual understanding between the people of Vietnam and Finland, helping strengthen the friendship between the two countries as well as between Thai Nguyen province and Finland ’s Salo city.

The exhibition has travelled through several localities such as Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho City in the south, Da Nang City and Thua-Thien Hue province in the central region, Dak Lak province in the Central Highlands province of Tay Nguyen , and Hai Phong City in the north.-VNA
