First batch of Vietnamese mangoes exported to US

A ceremony was held in Cao Lanh city, Dong Thap province on April 18 to announce the export of the first batch of Vietnam-grown mangoes to the US.

  • The mangoes are provided with a code from the Vietnamese Plant Protection Department and the US Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) for management and tracibility (Photo: VNA)

  • Before being exported, each batch of mangoes is radiated, quarantined and licensed a certificate of plant quarantine (Photo: VNA)
