The Hanoi University of Pharmacy on October 22 opened the first pharmaceutical post-graduate training programme up to European standards, with support from the French Government and Piere Fabre Foundation.
Deputy Health Minister Nguyen Viet Tien and representatives from the Ministry of Education and Training, French Embassy in Vietnam, the Hanoi University of Pharmacy and the Universities of Health Sciences of Laos and Cambodia attended the event.
The programme aims to train pharmacists who are proficient in expertise, foreign languages, as well as international laws to meet the demand of international economic integration in the field of health.
According to Associate Prof. Doc. Nguyen Dang Hoa, Deputy Director of the Hanoi University of Pharmacy, the programme also enables the transfer of technologies and acts as a pilot training model for other countries in this field.-VNA
