The British Council Arts Fund (BCAF) has announced five Vietnamese arts projects to receive a financial grant from the fund for the first time.
The beneficiaries include a project on devising theatre by Phan Y Ly; the “online short film Festival (YxineFF)” project of Vu Quynh Ha; a photography project of Phan Thanh Quang; “the Third Vietnam Caricature Prize – Rong Tre Cup” of the Vietnam News Agency Culture & Sport Newspaper, and the visual art exhibition, “The Pedestrians” of a group of artists: Vu Khanh Van, Le Hien Minh, Nguyen Thuy Hang, Ly Tran Quynh Giang and Nguyen Kim To Lan.
Established in July 2011, BCAF works to support artists and arts organisations in Vietnam as well as foster cooperation between Vietnam and the UK , through promoting understanding of the two cultures./.
