A privately-run farm in the Mekong delta province of Tien Giang has exported a shipment of 1,000 boxes of frozen quail’s eggs, each weighting between 200-250 grams to Japan.

The farm keeps over 320,000 quails, providing eggs to provinces in the Mekong Delta, the South-eastern region and Ho Chi Minh City. He earns over 1 billion VND (52,600 USD) from the sale of quails eggs a month.

The farm’s eggs have been sent to frozen produce factory for processing and packing in Long Dinh and will then be exported.

Tran Nguyen Ho, the farm’s owner, said he invested over 600 million VND in developing his business./.
