Hanoi (VNA) – The first national simulation training lab for anesthesia and intensive care has been inaugurated in Hanoi.

The 300,000-USD facility includes anesthesia machines, patient monitors, ventilators and basic simulation equipment provided by GE Healthcare – a medical equipment provider in the US and the Viet Health Service Trading Company (Viet Medical).

Located in the Viet Duc Hospital, the lab is expected to train 400 anesthesia students and doctors on a yearly basis.

The inaugural event was held on July 6 by the Vietnam Society of Anesthesiologists (VSA) and the Viet Duc Hospital.-VNA
