Hanoi (VNA) Vietnam Airlines rescheduled four flights between Vietnam and Europe on February 27 evening to adjust their routes so as to avoid the airspace shut-down of Pakistan.

The national flag carrier quoted the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority as saying that this country’s airspace would be shut from 2:30pm (Vietnam time) of February 27, affecting flights through it.

The affected flights of Vietnam Airlines on February 27 evening consisted of those from Ho Chi Minh City to Frankfurt (Germany), Paris (France) and London (the UK), and another linking Hanoi with Paris.

The carrier said other flights between Vietnam and Europe on the coming days may also be influenced.

Passengers affected by the rescheduling can change their tickets free of charge.

It recommended its passengers get the latest updates on its website www.vietnamairlines.com or Facebook page www.facebook.com/VietnamAirlines, or contact its booking offices or the customer care number 19001100.-VNA
