Flood-hit provinces receive more support from State
The Prime Minister has decided to
allocate an additional 98 billion VND and 3,500 tonnes of rice to
central and Central Highlands provinces which were seriously affected
by typhoon Ketsana.

central and Central Highlands provinces which were seriously affected
by typhoon Ketsana in late September and early October.
Accordingly, Thanh Hoa province will receive 10 billion VND and 1,000 tonnes of rice, Nghe An, 10 billion VND and 2,000 tonnes of rice and Dak Lak, 20 billion VND and 500 tonnes of rice.
Meanwhile, Gia Lai province will be allocated 20 billion VND, Ha Tinh, 5 billion VND and Phu Yen, 5 billion VND.
The remaining 13 billion VND will be added to the Defence Ministry’s budget on rescue operations./.
