The British Business Group Vietnam (BBGV) on June 10 inaugurated its new information centre in Ho Chi Minh City with the aim of speeding up trade and investment promotion activities between the UK and Vietnam.

BBGV President Nick Holder said the centre, established under a cooperation agreement between the BBGV and the UK Trade and Investment agency, will serve as a bridge for the two business communities, providing them with necessary information and consultations.

On the same day, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam presented four Italian restaurants in Vietnam with its “Golden Q” certificate – an award recognising restaurants with true Italian quality and authenticity.

The successful restaurants are La Hostaria, Pendolasco Italian Garden Restaurant, Pendolasco Italian Restaurant & Gourmet Shop, and Pomodo.

The awards ceremony will be held in Ho Chi Minh City on June 12, coinciding with the 11 th Netplus, one of the most highly-anticipated networking events held by the chamber. It is expected to offer the two countries’ businesses a chance to meet and boost cooperation opportunities.-VNA
