A delegation of foreign military attachés in Vietnam paid a working visit to the Vietnam Naval High Command on Sept 6.
At the reception for the delegation, Admiral Nguyen Van Hien, Deputy Defence Minister, highly valued the effective cooperation between the foreign military attachés and the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) and the Vietnam People’s Navy.
The exchanges and meetings between the military attachés and the VPA help create the solidarity between the Vietnam Navy and the naval forces in the region and the world, Hien said.
After the reception, the delegation visited the 189 Shipbuilding Company under the Ministry of National Defence. In recent years, the company has signed many contracts to build ships for customers in Europe and Africa.-VNA
