A collision between two foreign cargo ships occurred on the night of November 7 about two kilometres off the southern coastal city of Vung Tau. No causalities have been reported.

The Heung A Dragon of Marshall Islands was carrying containers from Hong Kong to Ho Chi Minh City when it collided with the South Korean vessel Eneli, which was departing from Phu My sea port in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.

The clash resulted in the sinking of the Heung A Dragon with about 30 containers left floating in the sea.

All 19 crewmembers of the ship were rescued and returned to shore safely by Vung Tau Port Authority and the provincial border guard.-VNA
