Forty foreign art troupes from 29 countries have registered to perform at the Hue Festival 2010, which will open in the former imperial city of Hue on June 5.
This year festival will be held under the theme ‘Culture Heritage with Integration and Development towards the 1,000 th founding anniversary of the capital city, Thang Long-Hanoi’.
The main venues of the festival include Ngo Mon (Noon Gate) square and Huong (perfume) river, where the event will open and wrap up, respectively, and Dai Noi (the Imperial Enclosure) where a number of parties and games will take place.
The festival will run until June 13./.
