More than 100 delegates both at home and abroad are gathering at an international forum of the Alliance for Healthy Cities that opened in the former imperial city of Hue on July 21.

The forum serves as a venue for the participants to share experiences related to social security, food hygiene, clean water supply, diseases prevention and control, climate change and health, and solid waste treatment.

The host city’s know-how in preventing epidemics, improving food hygiene, supplying clean water, collecting and treating solid waste were appreciated by the delegates.

The two-day forum is jointly organised by the People’s Committee of Hue city and the Secretariat of the Alliance for Healthy Cities (AFHC)./.
