Addressing the event, Ambassador Le Hoai Trung, head of the Vietnamese mission, and his Lao counterpart Saleumxay Kommasith praised the special traditional friendship between the two Parties, governments and peoples.
Both reaffirmed that the ties will be incessantly fostered for the firm and comprehensive development in the future.
The two sides recalled the Vietnam-Laos special solidarity and mutual assistance as well as shared experience in in their respective performance of missions at the United Nations.
They also took part in friendly sports activities and art performances to highlight the bilateral relationship.-VNA
