Fund for the Elderly gets more support
The Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Corporation
(PVFCCo) on June 12 donated 3 billion VND to the Fund for the Elderly to
help build an elderly care centre in the central province of Quang
Binh.

This is the largest sponsored project to take care of the elderly in need implemented through the Vietnamese Elderly People Association.
Established in 2007, the Fund for the Elderly has received total donations of nearly 11 billion VND from organisations and individuals nationwide.
It has helped elderly people in the northern mountain regions, and the central and highlands provinces to overcome the aftermath of natural disasters.
It also helps build houses for the elderly in various provinces, including Soc Trang, Quang Nam, Dien Bien, Hoa Binh and Lai Chau./.
