Furnishings on display in HCM City
Interior décor and furniture products are being showcased at the 2017 Vietnam furniture & home furnishing fair (VIFA HOME), which opened in Ho Chi Minh City on November 23.

The fair, organised by the HCM City Handicraft & Wood Industry Association (HAWA), features nearly 500 pavilions, including those from Croatia and China.
According to HAWA President Nguyen Quoc Khanh, discounts offered at the fair have been introduced to every household near the fair venue. The event has been also promoted on mass media.
Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen Phuong Dong said the fair is expected to connect furniture enterprises in the city and nationwide.
It also helps foster connectivity in the supply and production chain of legal wood products, thus meeting the market’s demand, Dong said.
The fair will run until November 26.-VNA
