Dong Nai (VNA) – German companies, with experience in engineering and environmental treatment, want to cooperate with the southern province of Dong Nai to build waste treatment systems.

The information was heard at a working session between Dong Nai province’s leaders and a delegation of German enterprises on November 21.

According to Tran Van Vinh, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, Dong Nai is a densely-populated locality with strong industrial development so it has prioritized investments in waste and wastewater treatment.

He said the province is currently home to 35 industrial zones and some 1,300 foreign direct investment businesses, including those from Germany and other EU countries, are investing in the locality with total registered capital of over 30 billion USD.
