German Chancellor officially visits Vietnam to strengthen cooperation
The official visit to Vietnam by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will contribute to strengthening the Vietnam - Germany strategic partnership, bringing the two countries relations to a higher level.
On November 13, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz arrived in Hanoi, starting an official visit to Vietnam. Welcoming Prime Minister Olaf Scholz at the airport were Minister, Chairman of the Government Office Tran Van Son, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ha Kim Ngoc and Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany Vu Quang Minh.
At the Presidential Palace, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presided over the welcoming ceremony for German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and his delegation.
This is the first visit to Vietnam by a German chancellor in more than 10 years.
