German defence secretary active in Vietnam
Deputy Defence Minister Sen. Lieut. Gen Nguyen Chi Vinh hosted a reception in Hanoi on March 8 for Parliamentary State Secretary of the German Defence Ministry Ralf Brauksiepe.
Hanoi (VNA) – Deputy Defence Minister Sen. Lieut. Gen Nguyen Chi Vinh hosted a reception in Hanoi on March 8 for Parliamentary State Secretary of the German Defence Ministry Ralf Brauksiepe.
Discussing bilateral cooperation between the countries, Vinh said it is growing across the fields of economy, trade, national defence-security, investment, culture and education.
The host suggested facilitating all-level visits by military delegations, increasing collaboration in training and the defence industry, sharing experience in the United Nations peacekeeping missions and post-war recovery efforts in Vietnam.
Brauksiepe affirmed that Germany will do its best to support Vietnam in education-training and the defence industry.
In the afternoon, Brauksiepe paid a courtesy call to Defence Minister General Phung Quang Thanh.-VNA
