Gifts handed over to Phu Quy Island
Youth unions of State agencies in southern Dong Nai and central
coastal Binh Thuan provinces jointly organized an exchange programme on
the theme of homeland seas and islands on March 14 in Binh Thuan’s Phu
Quy island district.

the theme of homeland seas and islands on March 14 in Binh Thuan’s Phu
Quy island district.
More than 200 union members attended the event, where they performed songs and dances and held discussions and knowledge contests about Vietnam’s sea and islands.
On the occasion, the organizing board granted 30 scholarships worth 15 million VND (705 USD) to poor students in Phu Quy.
Earlier the same day, the Youth Unions handed over 200 national flags to fishermen as gifts and presented a computer to the Radar Station 575 in the island.-VNA
