Thua Thien – Hue (VNA) - A “Golden Tourism Week”, the third of its kind this year, will take place in the Hue relic site, a UNESCO-recognised World Heritage, in the central Thua Thien-Hue province from December 25-31. 

According to the Hue Relics Preservation Centre, visitors to the site during the week will enjoy traditional royal rituals and art performances, and numerous preferential treatment.

Visitors will enjoy free admission to King Thieu Tri Mausoleum and An Dinh Palace when purchasing tickets for a tour to Imperial City - King Minh Mang Mausoleum – King Khai Dinh Mausoleum.

Similarly, free admission will be allowed to King Gia Long Mausoleum, King Thieu Tri Mausoleum, Hon Chen Shrine, and An Dinh Palace for those who buy tickets for a tour through Imperial City – King Minh Mang Mausoleum – King Tu Duc Mausoleum - King Khai Dinh Mausoleum.

Other special offers include 50 percent off for students and tickets to watch daytime Royal Court Music concerts at Duyet Thi Duong Threatre, among others.

So far this year, the province has received 3.3 million tourists, a year-on-year increase of 4 percent. The Hue relic site alone welcomed 2.5 million visitors, including nearly 1.27 million foreigners. Hue city received 60,000 tourists via the Chan May Port.

The tourism sector has earned over 250.7 billion VND (11 million USD) in revenue, exceeding the target set for the year.-VNA
