Golf tournament raises fund for Vietnamese children
The charitable golf tournament Swing for
the kids 2010 was held at Van Tri Golf Course in Hanoi on April 24 with
the aim of raising fund for children.

the kids 2010 was held at Van Tri Golf Course in Hanoi on April 24 with
the aim of raising fund for children.
The tournament, the fourth of its kinds, attracted 200 golfers who are diplomats, representatives of international organisations in Vietnam and domestic and foreign players.
Over the past three years, the tournament has raised nearly 2 billion VND to present 3,000 scholarships to poor students and provide emergency aid to children in natural disaster hit areas.
In 2009, the tournament presented full scholarships worth 10 million VND per year to outstanding poor students to help them fulfill tertiary education./.
