The beneficiaries include the northern province of Lai Chau; Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien-Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Binh Thuan and Binh Thuan in the central region; and Long An, Tra Vinh, Can Tho, An Giang and Dong Thap in the south.
Of those, Quang Ngai province will receive the largest amount of 23.4 billion VND (1.1 million USD).
The PM asked the localities to actively allot their local budgets to ensure the consequences of droughts and seawater intrusion during this year’s winter-spring and summer-autumn crops will be surmounted.-VNA
