Chairman of the Vietnam Peace Committee (VPC) Uong Chu Luu met with Vice President of the Chinese People’s Association for Peace and Disarmament (CPAPD) Li Wuwei in Hanoi on April 17.

Li Wuwei is heading the CPAPD delegation on an official visit to Vietnam .

The two sides exchanged information on the situation in their respective countries and discussed activities to foster peace among their people.

They agreed that the cooperation between the two countries’ peace keeping organisations has achieved positive results recently.

They also suggested exchanging information and experience as well as tightening their co-ordination in international activities in the future to contribute to maintaining peace and stability in the two countries, the region and the world.

The three-day official visit of Li Wuwei, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference cum Vice President of CPAPD was made at the invitation of VPC.-VNA
