Ha Long Bay among the world's most beautiful places: CNN
CNN recently has listed the UNESCO heritage site Ha Long Bay among the 25 most gorgeous destinations on Earth, beside Samburu (Kenya), Rotorua (New Zealand) and Kata Tjuta (Australia).
Ha Long Bay in Quang Ninh province is one of the most popular natural attractions in Southeast Asia and one of the most beautiful places in Vietnam, CNN said.
This site, which was recognized as a World Heritage Site in 1994 by UNESCO, captivates tourists by thousands of islets rising out of the emerald waters and floating villages.
It advised tourists to go on a cruise ship or hire a kayak to explore the bay, climbing on thorny cliffs and visiting caves.
The most ideal time to visit Ha Long is between March and April and September to November as there is very little rain and cruise conditions are near perfect, CNN suggested./.
