Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Dao Van Binh paid a Xmas visit to the Seminary and the Co Nhue Catholic Diocese in the capital’s suburban district of Tu Liem on Dec. 21.

Binh said that he wished Catholic followers a merry and peaceful Xmas and that he hoped they would continue bringing into play the solidarity and abiding by the principle of living the Gospel amid the nation and serving God.

The Vice Director of the Hanoi Seminary, Priest Vu Tat thanked the city’s leaders for their care of Catholic followers.

On the same day, Vice Chairman Binh also presented gifts to heroic mother Dang Thi Nhung - a 90-year-old Catholic follower in Dong Da district.

On Dec. 20, Vice Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilisation Nguyen Manh Hung paid a Xmas visit and donated gifts to Bishop Vu Huy Chuong of the Hung Hoa Catholic Diocese in Hanoi./.
