Hanoi becomes ready for SEA Games 31
Hanoi has nearly completed all preparations for the upcoming 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31). As scheduled, Hanoi will host 18 sports events of SEA Games 31 in 15 localities. The city had basically completed the upgrading of all infrastructure works serving the events.
The city has coordinated with the Ministry of Public Security and Ministry of Transport to ensure security and transport activities for the games. A plan on COVID-19 prevention and control is also being finalised.
The opening ceremony of SEA Games 31 is an important event, which requires the city to ensure best preparations for it.
The 31st SEA Games, themed “For a stronger South East Asia”, will run in Hanoi and 11 neighbouring localities. It will feature 40 sports with 526 events and expect to attract around 10,000 participants./.
