A highlight of the festival was the “Following the footsteps of Buddha” journey.

For students at the Hanoi University of Business and Technology, this was truly an unforgettable journey, from Hanoi’s Thang Long Imperial Citadel to Vinh Nghiem Pagoda and the sacred land of Tay Yen Tu in the northern province of Bac Giang.

They also had the opportunity to make woodblocks and learn more about Vietnam’s history and culture.

Discovering Co Loa, a special national monument, and the creation of Lien Chau crossbows provided especially interesting experiences for visitors, especially children.

The Hanoi Tourism Festival 2023 took place from March 23-26 to honour and promote tourism heritage sites and products.

It featured 150 booths arranged by 14 cities and provinces nationwide as well as 100 travel companies and 12 districts in Hanoi./.
