Business opportunities in Hanoi were explained to Italian investors at a seminar held by the Vietnamese Embassy’s Trade Mission in Italy on Sept. 3.

Fifteen members of the Hanoi Business Association (HBA), working in investment, construction, real estate, energy, chemicals and trade, attended the seminar, the first of a series scheduled to be held across Italy.

On addressing the seminar, Vietnamese Ambassador Dang Khanh Thoai said that Vietnam’s policy is to attract more foreign investors to Vietnam .

He confirmed that the Embassy would give support to Italian businesses if they come to Vietnam .

The HBA Chairman Nguyen Hong Son gave a briefing on Hanoi’s investment climate and its advantages.

Businesses from both countries attending the seminar also took the occasion to introduce themselves and seek out partners. A number of Italian businesses showed their interest in investing in Vietnam long term.

Similar seminars will be held in Florence and Venice in the near future./.
